An exciting opportunity has become available to work as part of our Operations Team in Bereavement Services. The position is for 37 hours per week with core hours of 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
As a Bereavement Operative based in Macclesfield you will be required to conscientiously and safely carry out a range of operational duties including:
2. Excavation of graves prior to and the reinstatement of graves following burial using both mechanical and manual methods (full training provided).
3. Operation of cremators and ancillary equipment (full industry accredited training provided) and supervision of funerals taking place in our service chapel.
4. A variety of grounds maintenance and horticultural tasks.
5. Safe operation of a range of fleet and machinery including 3.5t tipper & trailer, excavator, ride-on and pedestrian mowers.
6. Empathetic and positive communication with members of the public.
