INTERNAL VACANCY We are looking for an early years entitlements & sufficiency analysis lead to work as part of our newly formed early years and childcare service. This is an exciting time to join our small and friendly team as we develop and embed the many government initiatives and drive service improvements, including implementation of our Best Start in Life plan. You will be working in a high paced environment therefore a flexible approach and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential. The ability to provide accurate reports / data is also essential. The successful applicant should have a detailed working knowledge of early education funding and childcare sufficiency, in addition to a high level of ICT skills, with proven experience of using IT software including excel and Synergy. The applicant must have a high level of knowledge on analysing data to inform decision making. There is an expectation that the successful applicant will have knowledge of initiating, developing and analysing consultations to meet the needs of the service. A willingness to learn and develop, in addition to a positive attitude towards collaborative working, is essential, as is a knowledge of local government policies in relation to early years and childcare. Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role with some days working from home and others in our city centre office, ideally situated near the train station and main bus routes. The successful applicant will be required to represent CYC at a local / regional or national level where required. As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2: Can express themselves spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow, avoiding or backtracking around any difficulty so smoothly that the person with whom they are conversing is hardly aware of it.
