We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to support an established NHS service.
This role requires a confident and autonomous consultant with strong experience in both gastroenterology and endoscopy, able to contribute fully to outpatient, inpatient, and procedural services.
About the Role
* Deliver consultant-led gastroenterology outpatient clinics
* Provide specialist input for inpatients with complex GI conditions
* Perform and independently report diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures
* Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service development
* Apply evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality patient care
* Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
* Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Gastroenterology (or within 6 months of CCT, if substantive)
* Significant experience in upper and lower GI endoscopy
* Ability to work independently at consultant level
* Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
* Experience in advanced endoscopy procedures
