As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back.
We have both day and night shifts available. Your role involves planning and delivering care that ensures our residents feel secure, dignified, and independent. You will build relationships with residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your colleagues. Your duties include assisting with daily activities, supporting residents at the end of their lives, and communicating with families, all with kindness.
You'll support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and good time management are essential.
