Senior Quantity Surveyor
Leeds | £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Our client, an established main contractor based in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their expanding team. Operating nationally across the residential and commercial sectors, they deliver both new build and refurbishment projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on large-scale new build developments, working alongside an experienced senior team and benefitting from clear career progression.
Role Responsibilities
Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of 1-2 live projects at a time
Oversee new build and refurbishment schemes and other large-scale projects from start to finish
Prepare valuations, forecasts, reconciliations, and cost reports
Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
Maintain strong financial control and ensure profitable project outcomes
Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing regular reporting
Candidate Requirements
Solid background as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and/or commercial construction
Experience working on commercial and residential projects
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
Willingness to travel nationally as required
