Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) is recruiting a Casual Support Worker to join our team based in Southport. You will be part of our NDIS Core Supports team, supporting NDIS participants living with a mental health diagnosis to build confidence, independence, and connection in everyday life. From community access to daily living tasks, you will help people work towards the goals that matter most to them, in a role where your support makes a real difference. Everyday support that matters includes: Supporting participants to live well day to day through practical assistance and planned rostered supports Encouraging independence and progress towards individual NDIS goals through practical, strengths based support Supporting participants to attend appointments, reviews, and meaningful activities, while promoting choice and confidence Working as part of a respectful team, keeping clear records and communicating with Line Supervisors to ensure safe, consistent support You will need: A Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated experience working with people with mental illness. A positive attitude towards those who are marginalised and disadvantaged living with mental health challenges. Ability to work flexibly and well within a team. A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity. Valid drivers’ license and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property). Access to a smart phone to be used for work purposes. Availability to work on the weekend. Effective communication skills. Why RFQ?
