Based out of our Wembley facility, Sunbelt Film & TV is a fast-growing rental facility providing technical production equipment to the Film & Television Industry throughout the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering top tier rental equipment, exceptional customer service and operational excellence. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic and experienced operations manager to oversee and optimise our Film Lighting Division. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES OF THE POST- HOLDER Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth execution of equipment rentals, maintenance and returns across the lighting operation. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Explore metrics and processes and identify areas for improvements. Develop and report on implemented KPI’s for team members. Maintain best practices in the implementation of Health & Safety procedures, department organisation and ensure that the warehouse is organised, presentable and tidy. Work with the transport team to ensure that the transport remains compliant with regard to UK legislation. Ensure that equipment is dispatched in perfect working order and condition. Ensure that returns are processed correctly and any missing and / or damaged equipment is documented and recharged. Team Management Lead, mentor and develop the operational team, including warehouse staff, logistics and administrative personnel. Harvest a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. Oversee the hiring of personnel, performance management of staff within company software ( Work Day) You will approve overtime, holiday requests, time keeping and be actively involved with disciplinary actions and other related actions within your department. Instil, encourage and motivate an attitude of complete professionalism and exceptional customer service You will be required to follow and maintain robust inventory management systems to track equipment availability, usage and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Strategic Planning & Growth Collaborate with Senior Leadership team to align operational goals and business objectives. Analyse operational performance and make informed decisions on alternative ways of working. Establish KPI’s to measure operational performance to ensure targets are met. Customer Focus Partner with Rental Office Staff to ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of equipment. Address and resolve operational issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
