?? Registered Manager Childrens Home (EBD) ErdingtonRole Overview

You will manage and lead a small, specialist residential home in Erdington caring for up to 3 children with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Youre responsible for high-quality, trauma-informed care, compliance with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015, and creating a nurturing, safe environment where children can thrive.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Strategic Leadership
* Lead daily operations in line with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted Quality Standards.

* Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a small dedicated team.

* Oversee staffing rotas, ensure daytime and sleep-in duty coverage, and provide on-call support.

* Manage the homes budget, resources, and daily financial administration.

Child-Centred Care & Safeguarding
* Develop and maintain personalised care plans, risk assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support Plans.

* Promote emotional regulation, structure, life skillsand preparation for adulthood.

* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead on site and ensure all staff follow safeguarding protocols.

* Ensure the home is a warm, well-maintained, safe, and homely environment.
