Role of a Kitchen assistant
Swanstaff Ltd are currently looking for a kitchen assistant to join our team working out in a variety of care homes and schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and kitchen operations. We have homes and schools in and around the Bromley area seeking cover with immediate start dates!
Duties:
* Assist with food preparation, chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling dishes.
* Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
* Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies!
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and management!
Requirements:
* Enhanced Child & adults DBS on update service is preferred – we can assist with this if you do not have one.
* Previous experience working in kitchen environment is essential.
* Effective communication & interception skills
* A cheerful outlook and willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
