Our client is a successful and established manufacturing company based in the Poole area and they have a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant with a bias towards accounts receivable. Reporting to a Group Management Accountant you will have responsibility for: Cash posting and allocating remittances Requesting payment Sending invoices and requesting debit notes Checking returns against credit notes Identifying transactions that need investigation Creating and sending monthly statements Intercompany re-charges Bank reconciliations Monitoring shared email boxes Cover within the finance dept Assisting with month end and year end work Ad hoc duties You will need to have previous general accounts experience, particularly in accounts receivable or payables experience and experience of customer website portals/marketplaces would be a distinct advantage. You will also need to be a team player, have strong attention to detail and happy to take responsibility. Knowledge of Excel and good data entry skills are also needed.
