Your new companyThe Children's Home Finding Team is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us for an initial 3-month period. They are responsible for sourcing high-quality residential, fostering and supported accommodation for children and young people who cannot live with their families.This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping secure safe, suitable homes for vulnerable young people aged 16-24.Your new roleThe role involves supporting the Home Finding Team in identifying and securing suitable fostering, residential, and supported accommodation placements for vulnerable young people aged 16-24. Working closely with social workers and independent providers, you will help ensure placements meet each child's individual needs, complete quality and safety checks, and negotiate arrangements where required. You will contribute to decisions around matching children to homes, support the delivery of positive outcomes and value-for-money services, and assist with implementing key home-finding contracts and wider strategic work. The role also includes maintaining accurate information systems on placement activity-such as costs, quality, and gaps in provision-and producing datasets and reports to support management decision-making.What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills who is confident engaging with social workers, providers, and external agencies. You'll need to be comfortable speaking on the phone, proactive in your approach, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires the ability to understand and analyse financial information, stay organised, and work effectively as part of a team to support positive outcomes for young people.What you'll get in returnYou will be paid a competitive hourly rate and have a guaranteed long-term, full-time role, with further opportunities for permanent opportunities.
