Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and the school SENCO to differentiate resources and activities
* Support children’s emotional wellbeing by building positive, trusting relationships
* Assist in tracking progress and planning targeted interventions
* Help create an encouraging environment that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning
Who This Role is Perfect For
This role is ideal for graduates who:
* Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Psychology, Education, English, Maths, or a related field
* Are genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* Are calm, patient, and empathetic in their approach
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
* May have previous experience working with children or young people (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or volunteering)
