We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
Main Purpose Of The Post
We are seeking a highly experienced Housekeeper who can demonstrate pride in their work and is trained, or willing to undertake training, to COSHH standards. The Housekeeper will be responsible for the overall standard of presentation of the accommodation and our office areas at SWA, including our refuge accommodation in community locations and our offices where staff are based. You will ensure the highest quality in terms of cleanliness and presentation and be able to take pride in the contribution you make to the services we offer.
You will undertake a range of cleaning duties throughout the main refuge, communal and staffing areas. The Housekeeping role also requires the cleaning of the individual accommodation units and dispersed properties when families move out, in preparation for new arrivals. You will have the opportunity to enhance the presentation of the accommodation and office areas and work closely with the Refuge Team.

* Salary: Based on £24,742.64 full-time equivalent (FTE); pro-rated for 16-20 hours per week (approx. £10,699.52 - £13,374.40 per annum)

Working Pattern: Part-time, 16-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday; flexible hours. We welcome job share and secondment options.
