We have a new opportunity available working with our service user within his own home in Darlington supporting with his complex care needs.
We specialise in delivering high-quality, personalised support that empowers our clients to lead fulfilling lives. As a Complex Care Health Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of our mission to enhance the well-being of those who require specialised attention.
Our service user is a male in his late teens who lives with his family in Darlington and requires a dedicated care team to support his complex care needs on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and night.
He loves to watch programmes and listen to his favourite music on his iPad, Especially Adele, and the greatest showman. He enjoys going for walks and being out and about, spending quality time and socialising with his family and care team.
Throughout the day you will provide support at home and accompany him to his educational setting, you will support with his personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests and provide a supportive and positive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful nights sleep.

Shifts Available
1. Full Time & Part Time Days
2. 8:00am 8:00pm

Weekdays: £ per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour (Approx. £174 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (Approx. £180 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £ per hour (Approx. £198 per 12-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
