1:1 Teaching Assistant – Maidenhead – ASAP Start
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that students receive the individual attention they need to thrive. You will be assigned to work closely with a specific student or a small group of students, helping them overcome barriers to learning, both academically and socially.
Responsibilities
* Individualized Support: provide tailored support based on the student’s specific needs, including academic assistance, emotional well-being, or behavioural management.
* Facilitate Learning: support the delivery of lessons, adapting materials and tasks to suit the child’s learning style to maximise understanding and engagement.
* Monitor Progress: track the student’s academic and personal development and provide regular feedback to the class teacher to ensure progress is monitored effectively.
* Emotional and Social Support: foster a positive, inclusive and supportive atmosphere, helping the child build self-confidence and social skills.
* Collaboration with Teachers and Parents: work with the class teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and parents to create and implement strategies for the student’s learning and development.

£83-90 per day | Full time 8:30am-4pm
