About The Role
EKC Group is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, student-centred Careers and Progression Officer at EKC Canterbury College to support our students in deciding their next steps.
As a Careers and Progression Officer, you will lead a client-centred vocational progression programme of careers education, providing comprehensive information, advice, guidance, and careers education. You will support the progression of existing and potential students to internal college programmes, employment, Higher Education, partner organisations, or self-employment.

About You
We seek a motivated individual with a background in careers guidance, passionate about creating inspiring careers provision for young people and adults. Ideally, you will have a Level 6 qualification in Information, Advice, and Guidance or be willing to work towards it.
You should demonstrate creative thinking skills and be capable of creating and delivering enriching careers sessions that support strong work and academic outcomes. A good understanding of Career Education and Guidance in Further Education and confidence in delivering group sessions are essential.
