This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building PCs, setting up equipment, and solving technical problems while providing great customer service. Youll gain practical experience in IT support, hardware setup, and system configuration, all while working toward a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. About the Role As an ICT Apprentice, youll support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems for clients across the region. Youll assist with PC builds, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and user supportboth on-site and remotely. Key Responsibilities Support the IT manager with the monitoring, maintenance and development of all IT support systems, including servers, PCs, operation systems, hardware, software and peripherals. Act as first point of contact for IT problems across several sites. Troubleshoot common problems such as slow computers, printer issues or software errors. Assist with user account management, including password resets and access requests. Escalate complex issues to the IT manager when necessary. Update IT equipment records for all sites. Coordinate cyber-security e-learning by sending reminders, tracking completions, and supporting staff who need help accessing the training. Promote simple cyber-security steps, (e.g. strong passwords, spotting suspicious emails). Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and data protection guidelines. Complete apprenticeship training and take part in on-the-job learning. What Were Looking For Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (essential) Strong interest in IT, problem solving, and technology. Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work well in a team and ask for help when needed Willingness to learn & develop new skills.
