Salary: £120–£180 per day (depending on experience)

We’re working with a brilliant SEND school in Gateshead looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teacher to join their team from September. The school supports children with a range of additional needs, and they’re looking for someone calm, creative, and committed to helping every pupil thrive.

Your role:
5. Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
6. Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families
7. Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning space
8. Helping pupils develop confidence and independence, both in and out of the classroom
What you’ll need:
9. QTS or QTLS (SEND experience strongly preferred)
10. A patient, flexible approach
11. Strong behaviour management and communication skills
12. A genuine passion for SEND education
