Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Operational Leadership Team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Operations Manager for a fixed period of one month, on either a fixed-term contract or secondment.
The successful candidate will work with a proactive, transformational, and dedicated MDT team within the Cardiology Service, covering East and North Devon.
As an inspirational leader, you will empower staff to deliver high-quality care to the community, addressing the challenges of modern healthcare through innovative and integrated solutions.
You will lead the Cardiology Service during a period of change, managing projects and programs aimed at service transformation to improve outcomes for staff and patients.

The Senior Operations Manager will provide leadership to ensure high standards of service management and performance across services within the Care Group, including operational performance, finance, workforce, safety, quality, and service development.
You will ensure effective delivery of patient access targets and key performance indicators such as urgent and emergency care, elective care, cancer and diagnostic waiting times, financial performance, and value delivery.
You may need to deputize for the Care Group General Manager and participate in the on-call rota, taking responsibility for the site out of hours, including during major incidents.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - hours
