We have an opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to join our Building Services team and take responsibility for the development, management and control of component replacement and remedial work projects, with a strong focus on internal and external building and fire safety. You will also be responsible for the project management of M&E around compliance streams in our buildings and manage all aspects from design and installation to completion and post review of works.
Educated to degree level, or equivalent, and ideally with a qualification in Building Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, Construction or similar, you will have a proven track record in project management within the housing sector, dealing with budgets of over £150K. You will need to be resident focused and have worked on either fire equipment, lift replacement and door entry system replacement projects. You will also have sound knowledge of building processes, health and safety legal requirements and building regulations. First class communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with residents and stakeholders on a regular basis, along with the ability to climb ladders/scaffold to reach inaccessible/confined spaces.
