All Aboard Day Nursery is looking for a term-time practitioner, to join our team in Sidcup. We have a great culture and are looking for someone that wants to be part of a small but growing company.

Job Description: a term time only 12-6pm staff member.

As a member of the nursery staff you will be responsible in assisting and working alongside the other staff in the day to day running of the nursery. This includes maintaining a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development of the children within the nursery. Good communications and liaison with the nursery manager, directors and other staff fostering good professional relationships with parents and guardians.

Principal Duties:

-To be responsible for the supervision and care of all the children attending the nursery.

- To maintain a secure, safe and happy environment for the children within the nursery and to give support to parents/guardians and other family members.

-To ensure all routines are followed ensuring spontaneity is encouraged where appropriate, and that the children's interests are taken into account.

-To promote equal opportunities throughout the day in the Nursery.

- To implement the appropriate framework in accordance with the guidelines from Ofsted statutory framework and the EYFS. To understand, value and encourage stages of child development their characteristics of learning.

-To ensure that all children are treated and respected as individuals and that their individual needs are catered for, ETC.

Qualification: Level 2 or higher qualification in childcare ( with any certification ). Experience working with children, any safeguarding and PFA is added bonus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
