Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Support Workers located in the Greater Glasgow Area. Support Workers will provide personalized assistance to individuals, helping them achieve their goals and maximize their independence within their community. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with daily living tasks, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals through safeguarding practices, and fostering communication and social skills. Collaboration with team members, families, and external partners is key to delivering quality support services.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Support Worker and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with individuals and communities.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.
* Excellent communication skills to foster relationships and interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Technical support abilities and a willingness to learn and use relevant tools and systems effectively.
* Flexibility, empathy, and a person-centered approach to providing care and support.
* Prior experience working with people with learning disabilities or in a similar capacity is beneficial.
* A valid driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory.
