We're looking for a dedicated Reception TA to join a vibrant primary school in Smethwick, offering a mix of general classroom support and 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in nursery or Early Years settings, looking to take the next step in a school-based role. You'll work closely with the class teacher to support learning, play-based activities, and provide targeted support to children with additional needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the Reception class with daily routines and learning activities
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Helping children to develop communication, social, and motor skills
Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to adapt resources
Encouraging independence and positive behaviour through praise and consistencyWho We're Looking For:
A level 3 qualification in an Early Years-related subject
Experience in a nursery or Reception classroom
Previous work supporting children with SEND, particularly speech & language or developmental delay
