Role Description
To support the
sales and customer service department to effectively manage customer enquiries
on the telephone, and online via social media and email.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Support
the Sales team by answering incoming telephone calls in a professional, manner
following the relevant procedure, and making outgoing calls to customers when
necessary.
* Assist
with booking in standard customers and group booking to Urban Playground
venues.
* Promptly
respond to customer emails in a professional and consistent manner.
* Monitor
and handle customer enquiries through social media accounts.
* Administer
changes to bookings when required using the ticketing system.
* Liaise
with staff in the venues, ensuring that changes to bookings and customer
information is promptly communicated.
* Perform
basic administration duties.
* Ensure
all customer complaints are promptly communicated to the relevant senior
manager.
* Ensure
that exceptionally high standards of customer care are always delivered.
* Liaise
with other departmental managers to seek regular feedback in relation to
customer service.
Other Duties and
Responsibilities
* Ensure all training is completed in
a timely manner.
* Proactively
contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes and
procedures.
* Supporting
the sales function during busy periods.
Skills
Technical
* One year of Customer Service
experience.
* Good
working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
* Comfortable
using IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
* Strong
telephone handling skills.
* Excellent
grammar and written communication skills.
Personal
* Confident and enthusiastic communicator.
* Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude,
picking up any additional responsibilities to help the wider team.
* Engaging and pleasant persona to
extend the customer experience.
* A keen eye for detail, never
compromising on standards and keen to deliver an amazing service.
