Salary: GBP 33,063.00 - 38,404.00 per year, with additional benefits including up to GBP 8,262 in overtime and standby payments, full PPE and tools, and access to a company vehicle.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Pattern: Full-time, mobile, predominantly field-based role involving tree management around the distribution network, especially during storms and high winds.
Responsibilities:
* Manage trees and vegetation around power lines safely and efficiently.
* Work as part of a team to evaluate, prepare, and carry out tree cutting works.
* Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Participate in reactive and cyclical tree management activities.
Requirements:
* Experience in forestry, arboriculture, or related fields.
* Relevant NPTC certificates for chainsaw use and a qualification including NPTC UA.
* Experience working with power lines and climbing skills are advantageous.
* Current driving license is required.
* Enthusiasm, flexibility, and safety consciousness are essential qualities.
