Contract: Temporary (until 31st August 2026)
Salary: Grade 3 SCP 3-6 (£25,177 - £26,333) Pro Rata
Hours: Term Time, 39 weeks pa, 32.5 hours per week
To Commence September 2025
The Governors wish to appoint three temporary teaching assistants from September 2025.
Albany Primary School is a large inner-city school with approximately 400 pupils on roll. Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do as a school. All School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) to comply with Education (Wales) Act 2014.
These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
