Job Description
3. Maintenance, accounting and reporting of cash and banking activities including forecasting
4. Prepayment and accruals for the Shared Service Centre entities.
5. Preparation of the applicable monthly balance sheet reconciliations and Bank Reconciliation.
6. Support the Accounting Managers with analysis, open item management and documenting processes
7. Knowledge of Hedging
8. Support to the reporting and filing of returns for Indirect Tax, VAT and Intrastat declarations
9. Ensuring strict compliance with financial & business controls required by the Division/Group and external auditors.
10. Support to Internal and External audits
11. Support to Shared Service Team as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful General Ledger Accountant should have:
12. A degree in accounting, finance or a related field
13. Proficiency in French, both written and spoken
14. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
15. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
16. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
