Overview

Dundee Dental Hospital Health Records. Temporary up to 3 February 2026. 37 hours per week; Monday to Friday. Applications are invited for the above post based in Health Records, Dental Hospital. The postholder will provide a full health records service to all clinical departments, clinic and undergraduate staff within the Dundee Dental Hospital, other Hospitals, General Dental Practices and General Practices. The postholder will also provide a clinic receptionist service in the Health Records Department, Dundee Dental Hospital.

Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Current NHS Tayside Employee’s - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.

Responsibilities

* The postholder will provide a full health records service to all clinical departments, clinic and undergraduate staff within the Dundee Dental Hospital, other Hospitals, General Dental Practices and General Practices.
* The postholder will also provide a clinic receptionist service in the Health Records Department, Dundee Dental Hospital.


Requirements / Qualifications

* The postholder will require to have strong organisational, communication, keyboard and IT skills as well as previous experience working in an NHS or similar environment where you will have dealt extensively with the public.

* Hours of work are: 37 hours per week; Monday to Friday.
