Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Tenancy Services Officer to join our Tenancy Services team. What you’ll achieve in the role: The overall purpose of this role is to manage a geographical ‘patch’ of “tenure blind” properties and estates, with a focus on working proactively with customers to successfully maintain their tenancies, encourage mobility and provide an excellent estate management service. Key responsibilities include: To carry out sign-ups and tenancy visits for all new tenancies in the patch. To make recommendations about tenancy conversions at the end of any Introductory periods and the ending of Fixed Term Tenancies. To process tenancy changes in accordance with legislation and Raven procedures, working with other teams as necessary. To work proactively with customers to manage their tenancies successfully, in particular by ensuring the lettings and sign-up process is clear, thorough and supportive. To meet with customers as required to discuss cases and decisions, which may include visits or meetings outside office hours. What you’ll bring to Raven: For this role, we are looking for someone with the following: A basic understanding of housing management and tenancy related needs, including those of vulnerable people. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Previous experience of working with the public in a variety of different situations. A full, clean driving licence with own car You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.
