We are currently seeking a motivated and service-driven individual to join the team at The Working Boat as Pub Supervisor.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support the day-to-day running of the pub, lead the team during service and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience. You will lead by example, championing high standards and creating a positive and engaging environment for both guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operation of the pub, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team during busy service periods.
Maintain exceptional standards of customer service
Support both bar and food service operations as required.
Assist with stock control, ordering and cellar management.
Handle cash and card transactions and assist with end-of-shift procedures.
Ensure all health & safety requirements are adhered to.
Requirements
Previous experience in a pub, bar or restaurant supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service, including beers, wines and spirits.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
