HR/Payroll Transition Analyst
Role: Contract (Inside IR35)
Rate: £350 - 400 per day
Location: London (Hybrid – occasional onsite presence in Waterloo/Victoria)

Exalto Consulting is supporting a major programme focused on delivering new HR and Payroll services, with a strong emphasis on Day-1 readiness.
We're looking for a Transition Planner / Analyst who can bring structure, clarity and credibility to HR/Payroll transition planning.
This isn't a generic BA role. It's about taking complex, high-level intent and turning it into a clear, sequenced plan that teams can actually deliver against.
What you'll be doing
Building and maintaining detailed HR/Payroll transition plans
Analysing processes, data flows and dependencies
Working closely with HR, Payroll and IT teams to shape realistic transition activities
Planning and sequencing work across pre-Day-1, Day-1 and early life
Identifying risks early, particularly around data, timing and fallback
What we're looking for
Experience planning HR and/or Payroll system transitions
Strong analytical thinking with a practical, delivery-focused mindset
Understanding of HR/Payroll processes and how they connect operationally
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where not everything is fully defined
Able to bring structure and clarity without over-engineering
