Our client is looking for a Traffic (Data) Analyst. Reporting to the Traffic Manager involves undertaking all the service routing updates for two Trade areas within the Company, acting as a focal point for it for our colleagues globally. Working with all European stakeholder regions to achieve the Trade's budget objectives.
Responsibilities
Undertaking all the service routing updates for two Trade areas within the Company, acting as a focal point for it for our colleagues globally.
The role is also responsible to deliver all our Traffic reports, providing detailed output in a timely manner, highlighting trends or changes in line with seasonality, operational changes etc.
The role is also responsible to ensure that space settlements with our partners are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
We also ask the post holder to take the lead in the analysis of booking trends/seasonality/regional performance to help ensure that our business plan targets are met.
In addition, the Traffic Analyst oversees the Traffic process manuals and keeps them updated with current procedures or changes and regularly reviews reports and improve on them as needed.
Skills
Able to work as part of a close team, but also independently with decision making.
Attention to detail.
Have an interest in numbers with excellent numerate and communication skills.
Good European geographic knowledge.
Inquisitive to understand how our vessel container flows work
Good at Excel and a user of Power BI.
Salary £26,000 to £31,000 p/a plus excellent benefits
