Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off (Days Only) We’re currently recruiting for two Process Improvement Engineers to join our team, with a focus on driving operational excellence within the production area. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in coordinating activities and setting standards that enhance line performance. You’ll apply a proactive approach to ‘designing out’ inefficiencies and ‘building in’ capability, ensuring our processes are robust, efficient, and continuously improving. Key responsibilities include: Identifying top losses using systems such as Harford and developing targeted improvement plans. Championing a quality-first culture, ensuring strict compliance with food safety and GMP standards through best-in-class techniques. Providing strong engineering and maintenance support, with a focus on improving efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY… Working with the process improvement manager to provide input into the current state of the plant’s operations, develop future vision and support implementation of improvement plans using root cause analysis, influence changeover and production best practice, and focus on improvements with waste management. Assisting in locating and implementing best-in-class operational processes and then facilitate them into the plant with the support of a multifunctional team, providing detailed technical guidance for the planning and completion of activities on the process lines, using criticality analysis of site assets to drive improvement projects in key areas, balancing expectations of shift area delivery against the CI priority list, ensuring compliance to timing of delivery and expenditure. Offering major breakdown coordination, analysis of reports & guidance on recommendations, ensuring communication is maintained between all parties involved in this area of work, and support the team leader and production agenda with a balanced view.
