We are looking for a confident Clinical Team Leader (RMN or RNLD) to inspire, support, and oversee the delivery of high-quality care.
You will work 43.75 hours a week on a rota basis at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital, an emergency mental health hospital in Coventry. The hospital supports adults across three wards, aiming to facilitate a safe and swift transition to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for each individual.
Our model of care promotes a collaborative approach involving family, service users, commissioners, and carers in the rehabilitation and recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead regular care audits
2. Provide clinical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to develop services
3. Maintain excellence through clinical practice development and quality improvement
4. Support a planned program of quality and compliance initiatives
5. Participate actively in relevant clinical committees
6. Engage in training and continuous professional development (CPD)
7. Ensure care plans are complete and maintained according to NMC guidelines
8. Administer medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
* At least two years' experience in a relevant role
* Ability to maintain accurate documentation and undertake audits
* Good understanding of current nursing practices
* Commitment to patient recovery, risk management, and safety
* Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to supporting service user independence
Desirable:
* Ability to deputise in a managerial role
* Interest in leadership, research, and assessment
