We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef or cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a flair for creating innovative dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation while working along side our Head Chef and ensuring smooth operations within the kitchen environment.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Helping with kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
* Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring guest satisfaction through quality food service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Chef or Sous Chef.
* Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
* Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management within a hospitality environment.
* A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development and food presentation.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration within the kitchen.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
