The company is a UK leading, multi disciplined engineering firm specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical fitter to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a process pipework and plant maintenance project in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Duties
As a suitably experienced mechanical fitter you will be based on site at a food production facility in Bury St Edmunds. The works involve carrying out planned preventive mechanical maintenance around a large industrial food processing facility, specifically replacing pipework and repairing damaged plant including CHP units. Typical duties will include installing large diameter flanged and smaller process pipework.
