Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of around 300 personal tax clients, preparing tax returns, and assisting with related queries
* Liaising with HMRC to amend tax codes, request refunds, and resolve ad hoc issues
* Attending client meetings and calls, supporting the discussion and clarification of personal tax matters
* Preparing and filing Capital Gains Tax returns
* Registering trusts on the Trust Registration Service (TRS)
* Gaining exposure to Corporation Tax, with opportunities to support the team on company tax returns over time

Candidate Requirements
* Some prior experience in tax or accountancy (within a practice environment preferred)
* Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
* A friendly and professional manner with excellent written and verbal communication
* A willingness to learn and take initiative, wit a proactive and client-focused approach
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with tax software is a plus
* A strong interest in pursuing the ATT qualification (study support provided)
