An established and growing UK-based manufacturing company in the architectural and specialist glass sector is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its finance operations. This is a key leadership role within a dynamic business that prides itself on delivering high-quality products to commercial clients across the UK. Key Responsibilities Managing 2 staff, accounts assistant & purchase ledger clerk Managing cash flow for two companies Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts Managing supplier payments and direct debits Raising sales invoices Supervising chasing of outstanding debt, including monthly project sales applications Chasing release of retentions Supervision & review (and preparation when necessary) of weekly/monthly payrolls and year end close down Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis of project costs & liaison with surveyors Supervision of quarterly VAT Returns Preparation of P11d’s ONS reporting as required Management of credit insurance limits Management of accounting software packages Liaising with external accountant Liaising with bank Liaising with Directors Key Requirements Experience running finance ops within an SME environment Accounting qualification preferred but not essential Construction experience is highly desirable
