Job Title: Administrator - Temp to Perm - perm after 12 weeks Location: Leeds City Centre Contract Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (between 8am and 6pm) This role is fully onsite for 12 weeks then there is the opportunity for hybrid working there after - please only apply if you can commit to 12 weeks fully office-based. DBS and credit check required! Job Description: We are representing a local business who are seeking a motivated and organised General Admin Assistant to join their team in Leeds City Centre. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy, professional work environment. Key Responsibilities: * Data Entry & Record Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain client and creditor information across multiple internal systems and databases. * Document Processing: Prepare, scan, and file digital and paper-based documentation, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and compliant. * System Navigation: Work confidently across a range of systems and databases to retrieve, verify, and record information efficiently. * Quality Control: Check and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required. * Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to internal teams, including report generation, inbox management, and workflow coordination. * Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle sensitive and financial data with discretion, maintaining full compliance with GDPR and company confidentiality policies. * Empathy & Compassion: Demonstrate empathy and compassion in all aspects of work, understanding that accuracy and care directly support clients, including those in vulnerable situations. What We're Looking For: Experience & Knowledge: o Previous experience in a office environment or call/contact centre is desirable. o Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven setting is desirable. o Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Skills & Abilities: o Strong written and verbal communication skills. o Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. o Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work through challenges independently. o Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. o Empathetic and professional approach when interacting with clients. o Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Benefits once on a perm contract: * 24 days annual leave (this increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 29), plus bank holidays.
