About The Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance/Fitter to join their team. This role is essential for the repair, maintenance, and load testing of their lifting equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in fault-finding and repairs on traction hoists and safety brakes, as well as major gearbox repairs and overhauls.
Job Details
* Job Title: Maintenance/Fitter
* Location: Hillington, Glasgow
* Salary: Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair traction hoists and safety brake systems
* Conduct load testing of lifting equipment to ensure safety and functionality
* Carry out major gearbox repairs and complete overhauls
* Work with both AC and DC electrical systems
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in PC use, including MS Office applications
