About the Role
Community Mind Connect (CMC) is seeking a passionate Volunteer Smart Phone Videography/Photography/Content Creator to help showcase our community projects, workshops, and events through engaging visual content. This role involves capturing high-quality videos and photos at various events, editing content for social media, and working closely with our team to tell our story effectively.
Responsibilities
* Capture high-quality video footage and photographs using a smartphone at events and workshops.
* Document behind-the-scenes moments, participant engagement, and project outcomes.
* Edit raw footage and photos into short videos and images suitable for social media platforms.
* Develop creative content ideas aligned with CMC's mission.
* Obtain appropriate consent from participants for content creation.
* Organize and deliver content files in a timely manner.
Person Specification
Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in Smartphone Videography & Photography with a modern smartphone.
* Basic video editing skills using apps like InShot, CapCut, or Adobe Rush Mobile.
* Basic photo editing skills with apps like Snapseed or Lightroom Mobile.
* Understanding of social media formats and best practices.
* Creativity and storytelling ability.
* Reliability and punctuality.
* Good communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with non-profit or community content creation.
* Familiarity with Lancaster and Morecambe areas.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
