We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B Prison located in Redditch, Worcestershire.
In this role, you'll work with a multidisciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
The site currently offers a 24-hour service, across 7 days per week.
This is a full-time position, likely 9am-5pm, but must be flexible.
You will be expected to work a mixture of days and night shifts, as well as every other weekend and bank holidays.
Potential night shifts/weekend work.
You will receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking clinical nursing practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills
* Providing expert professional advice to patients, carers, and colleagues
* Providing treatment as required, including prescribing medication within your sphere of competence
* Carrying out comprehensive assessments of patients

Qualifications & Experience required
* Registered professional with current active registration (NMC, GPHC, HCPC)
* At least 1 year of Clinical Lead experience
* Substance misuse experience
* Non-medical prescribing experience (desirable)
* Understanding of policy developments related to service delivery
* Knowledge of national standards (e.g., National Service Frameworks, NICE guidelines)
