THE EMPLOYER IS: CRISSCROSS REMOVALS & STORAGE Crisscross Removals & Storage is a Belfast-based removals and storage company with a strong online presence and a growing focus on digital marketing to attract new customers and showcase our services. We are currently recruiting a Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the planning, creation, and publishing of digital content across our social media platforms. This role will involve hands-on work creating and managing content that promotes our services, documents real jobs, and highlights customer experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with management and will receive structured, on-the-job training in practical social media marketing activities. This role is suited to someone who is interested in digital marketing and content creation within a business environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist with creating photo and video content during removals, storage and office activities.
* Prepare and schedule posts across social media channels.
* Edit short-form video content for social media platforms.
* Maintain a content calendar to support regular posting.
* Upload captions, hashtags, and location tags in line with brand guidelines.
* Organise and store digital media files for marketing use.
* Assist with updating service-related marketing content.
* Support ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Basic ability to use a smartphone to capture photos and videos.
* Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
* Willingness to learn content creation and posting processes.
* Ability to follow brand guidelines and instructions.
* Basic editing skills using an editing software such as Canva.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in putting together long form videos for YouTube (e.g. vlogging and storytelling).
* Understanding of posting formats such as reels, stories and short videos.
* Experience creating content for business or personal social media accounts.
* Basic understanding of social media scheduling tools.
