Supply Chain Planner – Peterborough
6‑month contract | Full‑time | Hybrid (after training) Start: ASAP | Competitive pay
About the Role
We’re looking for five Supply Chain Planners to join a fast‑paced, global manufacturing environment in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career supply chain professionals who want to build hands‑on experience with MRP, production planning, supplier management and operational execution.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials, schedules and supplier performance align with customer demand — keeping the supply chain running smoothly every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support daily planning across materials, production, inventory, logistics or demand management
- Assist with the Master Production Schedule and Material Requirements Planning
- Use ERP/MRP systems to generate accurate planning signals
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks
- Analyse KPIs to spot issues and drive improvements
- Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve short‑term challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
What We’re Looking
- ForERP/MRP experience – essential
- Supplier management experience – essential
- SAP experience – beneficial but not required
- Manufacturing supply chain exposure – a plus, not mandatory
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling)
- Confident with numbers and data analysis
- Clear, effective communicator
- At least one internship or equivalent experience in a supply chain role
Working Pattern
- First 3 weeks: Onsite, Monday–Friday (training period)
- After training: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
- Flexible office hours
