Hybrid working Subsidised private medical care 35 days annual leave (rising to 36 after 2 years) Pension scheme & life assurance Support for chartered qualification renewal About You ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CTA qualified with strong UK corporation tax experience Interest in developing UK and Irish direct tax knowledge Confident managing workloads, reviewing work, and supporting junior staff Experience ideally gained in a Big 4 firm or a large corporate environment About your new role Always Delivering high-quality tax compliance and reporting across a predominantly UK-based group with Irish operations Supporting the Group Head of Tax with managing and reviewing the work of the internal tax team Ensuring timely submission of statutory tax returns and adherence to all legislative deadlines Providing internal guidance and training on tax matters including VAT, CIS, and PAYE Often Advising on corporate and operational tax matters alongside the Group Head of Tax Reviewing internal processes and implementing improvements for efficiency and compliance Liaising with external advisors and auditors to ensure smooth compliance and reporting Occasionally Attending internal or cross-functional meetings to provide a full overview of tax positions Monitoring legislative changes and conducting technical research to keep the team up to date Supporting strategic initiatives or projects led by the Group Head of Tax Spotting opportunities to add value and support the wider groups growth Never Stuck in the office 5 days a week Sweeping the staff kitchen with a straw mop Interested?
