This role is based at our Bickerstaffe site. The work shall focus on the fabrication of industrial Roller Shutter doors and associated products for commercial, industrial and domestic buildings. 40 hour working week 21 days holiday (plus paid bank holidays) Hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday - although you should have a flexible approach and be prepared to work additional hours - evenings and weekends, as and when required. Pay rate from £13.00 per hour, depending on experience. (from £27,040 per year) Driving licence required. Responsibilities and duties: Fabrication of Roller Shutter Doors and associated products. Rolling lath sections. Welding Required to work off site as and when required Ensure that the correct interpretation of drawings is accurate prior to fabrication. Organise the collection and delivery of powder coating, and quality control Collect parts from our suppliers - driving licence required When checking out jobs with the fitters ensure all parts are handed over Control and deliver the required materials ensuring that all works are managed and controlled in a cost effective and efficient manner. Maintain good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop. Working under the direction of the Site Manager Supervision and training of designated Workshop apprentices Maintain highest standards of safety, ensuring adherence to company HSE Policies at all times. Ensure the maintenance of workshop equipment ensuring all is in satisfactory working order at all times. Responsibility for checking and unloading deliveries. Benefits:
