We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing both in and out of the classroom. This role may involve supporting individuals with SEND, working with small groups, or providing whole-class support depending on the needs of the school. Beginning September 2025. Duties as a Teaching Assistant: Assist in delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Support the academic and emotional needs of pupils, including those with SEND or additional needs. Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a positive learning environment. Provide one-to-one and small group support. Support pupils with personal care (where applicable). Contribute to assessment and feedback by observing and recording pupil progress. Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Ideal Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable. A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. A patient, flexible, and positive attitude.
