Location: Greater Belfast, (Hybrid: 2 days in office / 3 days remote)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead our clients IT function and drive digital transformation across the organisation. You will manage a small team focused on optimising Microsoft 365 and SaaS platforms, ensuring robust cybersecurity, and delivering innovative IT solutions. This is a hybrid role with a mix of office-based and remote working.
As IT Manager, you will:
* Oversee IT systems, networks, Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune) and SaaS applications.
* Ensure strong cybersecurity practices and compliance with standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and GDPR.
* Lead IT projects from planning through delivery, including end-user training.
* Manage IT infrastructure, service desk operations, SLAs, KPIs, and system performance.
* Contribute to strategic IT planning, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
* Manage and develop a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* 3+ years' experience leading IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration teams.
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 architecture and administration, including Intune.
* Experience procuring and managing SaaS platforms.
* Proven track record in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies.
* Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and service delivery oversight.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
* A full driving licence or equivalent transport arrangements.
* Knowledge of automation tools and scripting.
* Familiarity with Power BI.
Additional Information:
* The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check, cost to be covered by candidate.
* The role may involve occasional additional hours to ensure effective delivery of duties.
