Company Overview
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client based in Newtownabbey, currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to join their established commercial project management team alongside their in-house M&E design team, utilizing the latest Revit, AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Maintain regular communication with clients through online, face-to-face meetings, and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and project forecasting.
3. Ensure efficiency of managers and site teams, with clear objectives set for achievement within target dates.
4. Verify project value, drawings, specifications, and orders before work commencement.
5. Coordinate with project teams to populate high-level templates and set out for construction.
6. Procure plant and equipment according to specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project expenditure at initiation and communicate projections to relevant teams.
8. Assess labor and sub-contractor requirements for installation tasks and team expansion.
9. Assist the Commercial team in preparing and evaluating monthly applications and claims.
10. Provide accurate contract variation information and monthly valuations to the commercial team.
11. Participate in monthly performance reviews with the Operations Manager.
12. Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals and ensure all as-built drawings and certifications are completed.
13. Track and report project performance weekly to the client.
14. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Qualifications
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ability to take ownership and demonstrate willingness to grow within the team and company.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
* Experience managing projects ranging from £3m to £10m.
