Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher – Supply Role Location: Bishop Auckland, County Durham Salary: £154.50 – £239.55 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Supply Start Date: September 2025 About the Role: Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a full-time supply position in a secondary school located in Bishop Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French and/or Spanish lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and share best practices. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively. A genuine passion for teaching languages and inspiring students to achieve their potential. An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
